At least 47 people were killed Friday in an attack at a mosque in northwestern Pakistan. More than a hundred were injured in the blast, according to the latest balance sheet reported by local authorities. The bomb exploded while about 500 worshipers were gathered for Friday prayers at a mosque in Jamrud, the main town in the Khyber region, 25 km southwest of Peshawar.
